The Divine Adventure! Poem by Denis Martindale

When God supplies amazing grace, the Lord gets happy, too,
When God lets miracles take place, His heart is on full view.
When God grants strength to weakened souls, this lasts a long, long while,
And when their faith gets full of holes, He helps them so they smile.
If not for Kingdom Love like this, not one of us could stand,
Nor picture Heaven's gift of bliss as Christ walks hand-in-hand.
Yet just as little lambs we grow within our Father's love,
Then preach to others so they know that Christ's grace proves enough.
That's why God's ministries abound and prayers ascend on wings,
We feel God's presence all around, thanks to the King of Kings!
By faith, the saints share beauty still, so that smiles may increase,
According to the Father's will, thanks to the Prince of Peace!
The poets pour out reams of rhymes, the painters share their themes,
The prophets forecast future times and old men dream their dreams.
What will you do? What will you share? What mercies will you send?
Beyond each tender spoken prayer become the Saviour's friend!
