The Dogmatic Kind Poem by Francis Duggan

The Dogmatic Kind

Rating: 5.0

So arrogant in their thinking the dogmatic kind
But suppose 'tis in their nature if they are that way inclined
The windows of their minds does seem closed to light
But then suppose if they feel they cannot be wrong they have to be right
They believe that their opinions only do count
And that the thinking of others to nothing amount
And 'tis known they can be autocratic in positions of power
And from the fear of their wrath their subordinates do cower
The dogmatic kind one might say are not rare
And their opinions with everyone they like to share
Their type sad to say one can meet anywhere
And there are many of them in the big World out there
Disrespect to the opinions of most others they show
The people I know of but would rather not know.
