The Dogmatism Of Waves - Poem by Mike Hester
The waves roar, “Change! ” in their violent undulations,
As day reveals a difference in each burst of morning rays.
Though static as things seem to be, revel in this certainty:
As much as some may wish it – nothing ever stays the same.
When the rest lay bare their hasty persecutions
Leaving you in banishment and solitary pain;
Change will be a friend in need who lies beside you silently -
Helping you to know that moment won’t be back again.
