The Dove

There once was a little dove
that stole my heart from me.
I wiped a tear upon my glove
as he flew off so free.
I watched him soar into the sky
he clutched my heart so tight
Knowing he would not return,
I cried with all my might.
I saw the path that he did fly
and it I to shall follow
but not today i fly away
I must wait til tomorrow...
