The Earthly Hell Poem by Jenna Lyn

The Earthly Hell

Your soul conveys a story, one which I relate
Heart remains so hardened, through words it demonstrates
My eyes see through enclosed realms; ones which are forbidden
My mind holds many secrets; to the common, remain so hidden
Supernatural wounds traumatize my body
Death whispers in my ear, leaving no visible embody
It watches from afar as I’m made a convict
Forcing the venom down me, making me an addict
They tell me it can’t touch me that I’m far from corruption
Yet oppression’s placed upon me, it waits for self destruction
“JUST KILL ME! I WANT TO DIE” my words echo in the silence
I’ve opened the doors to the devil’s helpers, his evilly twisted alliance
A smirk emerges in the dark, as my life is drained
Just one more you’ve murdered off, one more life you’ve gained
Could’ve shot me with a bullet, forced your dagger right on through me
Yet you choose the slowest way, my veins burst, you’ve done the deed
Picking me up into your arms, you slowly say those words
“Once were you so strong, my love, and now I hold your innards”
Chanting your manic words, you curse the atmosphere
Stripped me of my light, made my innocence look severe
Your body will burn in hell; flames shall over ride your screams
I was a mere mortal, when my soul calls out, I will be redeemed
Until that day, you will continue torturing young stainlessness
Your next victim has survived and screams “YOU ARE TO BLAME FOR THIS! ”
I never had known you watched me, throughout my portion of ignorance
Just waiting for the moment that I’d stumble away from obedience
So here my body lays lifeless; human life in wonder
When I truly had changed, gave evil the keys to plunder
