The End Poem by Star Sherwood

The End

You cut
You bleed
You hurt
It's great,
You know
By now
It's far
Too late.
The tears
Slowly
Run Down
Your cheek,
You wish
That you
Were not
So weak.
You fake
A laugh
You fake
A smile,
They think
You’re okay
For a while.
But no
It's done
You’re not
That strong,
And you
Have waited
Far too long.
For something
That will
Never come,
It's lack of
Presence
Has made
You feel
So numb.
You wish
He cared
You wish
He knew,
But now
It's over
Now you’re through.
You say
'Goodbye'
And you
Know its
Meant to be,
Signed with
One last cut,
Forever, Me.
