The End Poem by Zaro Samadzai

The End

you stood before me resurected
angels led you back to life
to breathe in me and make me whole
to draw me back into the light
it was you, your eyes, your smile
it was your voice that echoed miles and miles
it was you, my life, my everything
who stood before me, called my name
and yet a breath i could not catch...

these suffocating silent screams
these broken shattered childish dreams
they wilted there before my eyes
they wilted wilted in your lies
you came to life and i still mourn
you came to life, but you came alone
