How beautiful is the thought that I see you and you don't see me
I am your inner voice and you think there is none
I am your soul and you think you lost one
I am you and you are me, but you don't believe in us
I sense your cry but you aren't aware I exist
I walk with you everyday but you don't know I can breathe
I listen to your screams but you think none does
I pray for your smile and you continue to live with a broken heart
I wish for you to come along someday
But you refuse to believe in happiness again
I hope for our eyes to meet and you refuse to open yours
Every night I sit by your side and hold you tight
But you continue to weep
