The End Of It All Poem by DM W

The End Of It All

Rating: 5.0

The slain carcass of Truth
Is rotting in Vanity's desert.
Beauty, Faith and Virtue
Are now burning amidst raging fires.
As Life's centre falls apart,
Time's old, gnarled roots strangle young flowers,
Innocence's snow white wings
Will break in that last fatal hour.
