you left me in pieces
and i'm still not together
our friendship is in torn shreds
avoidance is key
you don't look at me
when i feel ur shroud of loneliness
you hold your head high
as if you don't even care
and yet, i still see it in your eyes
you're hurting too
i'm hurting with you
but it's too much to bear
our silence is enough
there can no longer be
just you and me without us
i'm sorry...
