The Ending Poem by Rachael Jane Margret Brown

The rain is falling
while the tears are stalling
my heart is beating
my soul is bleeding
how long can this go on
its like repeating the same song.

and the chorus screams
woken up from your dream
doesn't it always seem
that it ends this way
far to soon and yet no more to say
no fairytale ending left in sight
happily ever afters fall from words of spite.

so this is the end
no more roads to take not even a bend
left all alone
no place to call home
empty inside
because something died
was all of it lies?
