The quintessential moment,
The fragile fragment of time,
The insight unbidden,
No longer hidden,
Transparent and sublime.
The freshness of awaking,
Right there for the taking,
Behold the inspiration,
Then the celebration.

Look deeper now, for more, somehow,
Draw it out like strands of gold,
Discover what God will allow,
So wondrous things get told.
Yes, play your part and make a start,
For there are treasures to impart,
A song, a poem, a hymn, or a play,
Yes, pretty soon, one's on its way.
