The Sanatan…
I am a swimmer in the infinite
Watching myself
swim in me
Sometimes,
laughing out aloud
At who,
I had been told,
God was
When I was a novice
Reading my books
In the classroom called life
Preparing for exams
Which were never held
In compulsory subjects
Dictated by others
And optionals
Of my own choosing
.
Then I found
The finals were just
An interview with myself
With me,
As the examiner
.
The venue was not far
Within myself
But giving up my books
And forgetting
all I had learnt
Took a long time
Then finding my Self
Did so too
.
But now,
I am a swimmer
in the infinite
Watching myself
swim in me
Sometimes,
laughing out aloud
At who, I had been told,
God was……..
