The eve of New Year's Eve
The last evening of the old epoch
The New Year in the old country
A moment say goodbye to the passing time

The eve of New Year's Eve
It has a moonlight as mirrors
The passing time
Reflects on the melting water from cold evening ices

The cold water likes the ice
The hard solid cold ice
It is the twinkling lights in the dark
It delights those returners

The returners are this eve
Those departed come back from afar
The mixed feelings when they meet again
They echoed with the simultaneous sound of fire cracker and music
