In the evening lamps
Glow inside the huts
Lighting up the streets where
The street dogs lie curled up
In the soft breeze
The flames flicker
Making long shadows of
The trees to dance in ecstasy
Silence is haunting
At a distance by the
Riverside the flame grows
Into a fire causing the body to
Melt slowly like a statue of wax
