The Ever Filled Reservoir Of The School Teacher - Poem by Venkatesh M. R.
Teachers in India like to impart knowledge
So their students can have an edge
Their Students are their pride
Whom they proudly remember when they retire.
Gopal was from a small town
Where he studied his childhood lessons
Now he had money, fame and fortune
And to show it to his teacher he returned.
To come along with him he requested his poor teacher
But teacher said it is not the rule of Mother Nature
He being here for many students like Gopal can show way
As water flows but the river stays! ”
