The Faded Rose Poem by Lance Carthen

The Faded Rose

Your mind slowly becoming extinct
The longer you sit and try to figure out me
Im not the man you though I was
I am a bomb exploding in the street
The nights you prayed for an angel
You got a devil instead
Your screaming at your reflection
But your sympathys dead
All you wanted was a perfect life
A perfect time to be a perect wife
A perfect lie nothing but a sacrifice
The life you denied to be the tramp delight
Pointing your finger in every direction
Your lost without a clue
Just remember when your pointing just one
Theres four more pointing back at you
Vonvoyage to the life you wasted
Say hello to hell
Living the rest of your life as a recluse
Your like a withered rose with no smell
