If God made all, both light and shade,
Then who designed the darkness made?
If angels fell, and turned to ill,
Did God not plant that darker will?
Or did a force, beyond God's hand,
Create the evil in the land?
Then who is God, if not complete?
A partial power, bittersweet?
The Bible's tales, a woven thread,
Of planting seeds, and daily bread.
The sun above, our life's bright spark,
A harvest reaped, before the dark.
But fear and rule, a heavy cost,
If freedom's spirit should be lost.
A guiding hand, or shepherd's crook?
A time for sowing, and a second look.
