The Family Flower Poem by Prof Niamat Ali Murtazai

The Family Flower

A family just like a flower must disperse one day
Fate is the force how much it may say: nay, nay, nay!
Flowers bloom in light and gloom, frolic with fast winds
From bud to blossom, each moment they are refined.
Then one day one petal is lost, and ah! the scene
Becomes gruesome that was once so so serene.
This separation breaks petals petty hearts
Just as a daughter from a family departs.
Her departure puts the family in grief;
‘It so happens! ' is the only relief.
One by one all petals depart one day
It seems that to the end has become man's play,
The family flower remains drably deserted
And life seems to have become perverted.
