The Fare Sonnet Poem by Pablo E Martinez

The Fare Sonnet

Rating: 5.0

Are you capable of knowing love?
Can you recognize it?
I will no longer hurl unfair and unjust remarks
Believe it if you may
This was your dream and u were my pawn
You sense it now, always felt that way
The impossible, to be loved that way
Never before
Worn from shadowy dreams of past dawns
Admired for your likeness and treated like a hore
I know it was tender, your spirit sore
I cherished you beyond your mortal delicacy
I loved your voice, actions and gazed beyond the pain you bore
I loved you with my essence
I loved you with my eyes and caress
I loved you with my tears and the scars I wore
I loved you with mad passion of war
I shared my faults and success
Flawed in my own way
Made my mistake, have my remorse
Never fathomed the pain you evoked
You can't. You may never
This true is real and naked
Vulnerability and pain
I will forever regret
Words fell on you like steel dropp rain
You are not
You are a passionate, caring and loving soul
You are magic
Your eyes a deep blue ocean
Your body a sanctuary for my lost soul
I am regretting this path, this pain
Feels like steel dropp rain
