The Fated Seeds Poem by Adookorn Auaduma

The Fated Seeds

We am the fated seeds of naive sowers,
Seeded at the crossroads of foreboding
As night loom with the plod of sorcerers,
And day batter with pedestrians plodding -

Pierce soft sprouting floral with the saber
Of society and class to trample our dream,
Our pinion is shattered to the fibre -
From the bright sky of a promising realm.

We fall on the top of glowing charcoal
With indelible marks of fatal wound,
We crawl a hurt bat before the eagle -
And gulped down the belly of wild bird.

But our forlorn pang appeal to deaf ears,
So they watch us with pallid sullen eyes.
