The Fear Of Love Poem by Lekakwe William Moagi

The Fear Of Love

Never have I thought I could be in fear
Fear of thinking I’m in love
Denial to the feelings I’m in love, what love is it
Shall it not be the love spoken of?
The love, I don’t wanna let go
The love of kiss and silence

Fear in love seized I following the
Discovery of my limitless happiness in your being
How than shall I pass a day without you, is it not that I shall be sombre?
Perhaps that be my fear, if you realize
You realize my happiness

Or
Maybe I fear the new experience of love
The push of love
Love wanting to spend a moment just a little more
Sometimes forever
What love shall this be?
I fear
