The Flame Grows Poem by Blake Val Noir

The Flame Grows

My candle has been lit once again,
I give you 10 out of 10.
A dune begins but a single grain,
My flame grows and then;

Perchance a meeting with a wishful greeting,
Inebriated a blissful fool,
Romance did dance my mind entranced,
A fire was born with fuel.

My goddess, a goddess, unknown to me,
Was lying in front and was soon to be,
For that brief encounter, ecliptic night,
Stoked the fire that is now so bright,

What followed lay a haze,
Alas for only a few days,
Then the mist did start to rise.
The new clear I saw was beauty and more,
A fair lady awaited I gazed in awe,

Since the day of reckoning,
And my beacon set beckoning,
My smile, my lust, my happiness, I must,
This journey I wander the unknown I crave,
Be brave; be bold, your hand I hold,

Set sail my flame let grow and flicker,
From hour to day my heart beats quicker,
Your beauty needs but a glance to stun,
Let's go be free, run and have fun,

Let's journey to the beyond,
To the far off land,
Let our feelings grow strong,
And so together we stand,
The future lies ahead,
And my smile forever wide,
The unknown we will tread,
With pride in every stride,

With you is where I want to be,
With you is where I can be free,
The flames grow now warm and high,
With a final breath I can reply;

Together we smile, together we shine,
Together in style, together we climb,
Together we pave, together we see,
Each step, each moment, we will always be,
Enjoy this day as much as you can,
For now our future has only just begun.
