The Flight Of The Arrows Poem by Sharron Stephenson

The Flight Of The Arrows

The wind of the mind that curls arounds the,
Soul of the lonely heart. The word of a word,
That springs the darkness into the warmth of a,
Light. Body to body, a finger to finger a,
Motion of time, the click of a second. A wink,
Of passion.
The eyes that leads to a island of wild,
Horses and dreams. A kiss of love and,
Fantasy.
A bullet that strays from a gun of shame,
The guide of a hand of friendship, the,
Whisper of the day. The truth of reason the,
Sadness of lies.
to pull the ocean of power starts the feelings,
Of poison arrows. The orchestra of stars that play.
A song of diamond melodies.
A camera of smiles, emotions withheld that,
No-one understands. The meaning of trust, that.
Lost the strength of keys, gathers a pool,
Of birds in the temptation of flight.
