The Forest - Poem by Justin Reamer
I can hear the birds chirping, father!
I can hear them chirping, can you?
Yes, I can hear them chirping,
And they are so sweet,
The way they chirp so beautifully.
The songs are so beautiful, Father,
They are so beautiful.
As are you, my son,
For I have never had a gift
In my life.
