The Forgotten Poem by Leonora Bus

The Forgotten

I stare into the eyes that remind me of the forgotten
The forgotten memories, the forgotten feelings
Wishing to freeze time at this very moment
No lost memories, no lost feelings
Consisting of a possession that overpowers me
A possession that no other eyes reveal to me
Glancing back at mine, do you see what I see
Or is it true that it is I who has been forgotten?

This was written when I was 14.
