The Forgotten Man Poem by Rick Zis

The Forgotten Man

Rating: 5.0

He was a man who once,
Stood so high and proud.
Owns and gets everything he wants;
And was a king amongst the crowd.

But all things will come to pass,
No matter how great, how small!
Fora beginning will have a last,
And every rise shall have it's fall.

Back then he was praised,
Now he is but a forgotten name.
And in this small phrase,
Shows the life of a forgotten man.
