The Four Leaf Clover Poem by Daniel McDonagh

The Four Leaf Clover

The first leaf is for Brother Walfrid,
the guardian of Celtic men,
he fed the poor of Irish stock
in Glasgow's east end.

The second leaf is for Jock Stein
for he took the Celtic up
to face the mighty of Europe
by winning the European Cup.

The third leaf is for the Celtic,
the passion in our eyes,
where we've grown old with the memories
in the shrine of Paradise.

The fourth leaf is for the Celtic fans,
they are the strength in Celtic's fight,
who've been faithful through the history
of the famous green & white.
