The Friends Ship I Miss... [a Sweet Journey Of Two Friends] Poem by Fathima Zahra Khan

The Friends Ship I Miss... [a Sweet Journey Of Two Friends]

I felt the skies cry with joy
When we first met,
My trust in her was beyond
The horizons of the sunset.

Then there came this typhoon
We had no option but to part,
Life is now like a sugarless coffee
Without her presence.

O my sweetheart
Life is now like a sore heart,
My belief of meeting her again
Is glowing bright like the sunshine.
A friend is a boon
By the mighty lord,
Blessed are the ones
Who have you as their friend.
I miss you my dear friend.

There are times when I recall
The days we spent with each other,
And suddenly rain of tears fall
Making my heart heavier.

Together we spoke a lot
From mom's cooking to the street fight
People named us 'the non-stop radios',
Above all
She called me a doll.

School was a heaven to me
When she was with me,
Those moments are still evergreen
When she got me a candy
From her limited pocket money.

Those 8'am's
During the exams,
Were joyous between the intense tension
Because that's when I saw her.

She was with me for everything
She was the Angel who
Helped me overcome sorrows
In my worst times.
She was the mirror
Who reflected me
She was the only one
Who understood me
When none else could.
I miss you my dear Angel.

I never realized
Life would become paralyzed,
Without a true friend
Like her!

She got me used to her
Now, it is hard for me,
To stop remembering her.
If I had a wish
In my lifetime,
I would wish
We meet one more time,
And never part another time.

What my heart longs for
Is her love,
Which I feel every time
I think of her.

Dear, you have been
An angel in my life,
There will come a time
When we will meet
Again.
Till then
I hope our Friendship
Never Dies
In all ages!
