The Fruit Of The Womb Poem by Brian Taylor

The Fruit Of The Womb

Dark people has always been known as The Fruit of the Womb people.

Black people has always been strong
and known as the Fruit of the womb people.

Sacrificing our lives with so much Capitalism and
Capitalist forces under our arms or on our hands
We have still blushed in a blushful way with our
skin booming still in a boom way but with freedom
on our hands after slavery we said it was cool though.

Now here we're in a new generation of life.
A new era of life, and A new time of life where
we still make mistakes but we leave room for The
Fruit of the Womb when we excuse ourselves
from the mistakes being under Capitalism with
so much Capitalism being irrate they cold-hearted, we cold-hearted, it's a cold world out there and it's cold.

We can get out of Capitalism and from up under Capitalist forces
with doing some of the things we like playing music, playing fiddles,
Playing African drums, and performing so many African dances Capitalist
leaves room for the Fruit of the Womb to express theirselves and be free from time to time with Africans during slavery times being so poor.

Lovely poem on Capitalism, your poem evokes memory of my history lesson in secondary school, when we were taught about the Trans atlantic slave trade and the Royal Niger company. My poem also is called Fruit of the womb, please help me read it and let me know what you think. Many thanks
