I awoke to find myself alone
but alone in everyone;
I awoke to find my only friend
in me and you and one.
I am not here to save the world
but the world to save I will;
I am not here to save myself
but myself to save I will.
Remember not to forget myself
in others in other's words;
Forget not to remember myself
in no one's nothing world.
Create, create, create to live
and live the life to live,
sleep, lay still, stagnate I won't
my life I will not give.
Your times of past to times of now
can not destroy me now, for
I lived the past, and I'll live again
I live today that's how.
It's all the same, you and I
but no one's truly us;
The difference lies in societies
don't ever surrender your trust:
To trust for trust of older lies
the ancient of the news,
to live for lie in newer lies
the future lies for you. I said
The future lies for you. I say
The future is for you.
