The Game - Poem by Kelsey Andrews
When you truly love someone you always will love them
And even when you move on suddenly everything reminds you of him.
Who cares if he broke your heart
The thought of being without him tears you apart.
So you keep running back
The absence of fear you do not lack.
You tell yourself you don't wanna hurt again
Oh but this is where the story will begin.
Your heart disagrees with what your mind is saying
Because in the end you know it's just a game he's playing.
But your heart says to never let go
In the end pain is all you show.
