The Gardener Dances Poem by Joyce Hemsley

The Gardener Dances

The gardener dances around the borders
with a caring heart and a song to sing
his mind absorbed with each floral ring...
daffodils of gold, as Wordsworth told
and all the beauty that blooms in the spring:
bright sunny weather and colourful heather,
enchantment is there in each jardiniere.
No wonder his happy heart sings as he
admires the radiance that plant life brings.
