(()) The Gender Trap - Poem by Dee Wright

Male & female
he may have created them

but I don't
feel I am

either of them.

I am just

This being female
is like a suit of clothes

one wears

ill fitting...too tight

doesn't suit
the colour of my eyes

or how
I see with them.

Only your eyes
your ' Yes! '

and yes

your fingertips
in the dark

your mouth
upon my mouth

and I
blossom into woman

just for

eternal second

we become one

sexless through sex

& then
I'm back

to just

sans all that
gender crap

the me

that happens

to be

An awakening of feminine rapture as love enables you to blossom...great pace and introspection here Dee. j x (Report) Reply

That's what I was going to say! But, as they said about a Man, 'mad, bad and dangerous to know'. A beautiful 'blossoming'.

Oh you're definitely woman, Dee - make no mistake on that one! LOL! Your poetry is all woman - but I do love this, the way you define the fact that you only truly come into being when you're sexed up by the one you lurve! Very clever! HG: -) xx (Report) Reply
