The Generations Poem by Emmanuel George Cefai

The Generations

the generations
move
the generations move that way:
today you smiled I did that
yes
yes centuries away
wisdom too has someway
attached to me
somehow
semi-independent of will
But
No here we are.
Most times with a walking stick
At rarer times I fall but fall.
Perhaps
Because to the Wisdom Cumulus
This so-called Order of Things
Where sultana Immortality reign
Is not so logical And practical.
An Immortality shall invert
This Order by Freedom from Order
Civilization into Civilization New
On
On
On.
