The Getaway Poem by Roger Snow

The Getaway

There's a, ,
Cross Country Road
through every site in your mind

when troubles become
a Heavy Load
It's alright to just drive off,
and leave that Load behind

So find that White Line divide
Destination later, you'll decide

for now, just roll out there
take that required Ride, ,

There's a white sand Beach
in every dream, ,

it's never as far out of Reach, ,
as it may seem, , ,

Put some Faith in that, ,
You can wheel out now

Easy is another Fact
Yes it's just as easy now

Look up Child, ,
Condors soaring High, ,

get into your Wild
it's so easy now
if you'll only Try, , ,

Soar on those Wings of yours

The Sky is open
to just about anything

It's so easy now
So go, spread those Wings, , ,

Coastline Calls
out loud your name, ,

and you must heed the Call
No need now, to remain, , ,

There's a Road out of our minds
when that Load we're crippled by
keeps us spun, , let's leave that Load
leave it all behind, ,

Wheels are crying out for a Ride, ,

Think it's Time for us to roll, ,
let's just ride, , unto anywhere
we wish to go, , ,
