The Gypsy Poem by Roger Snow

The Gypsy

The Gypsy, ,

~~~~ Song ~~~~
Pages Turn,
there's Road to burn
Can't Stop, , , when that
Road sings your name
on the Wind
Traveling Bag Packed
Faded Denim Patched
Truckin' Boots Dusted off
Worldly Goods Stacked
Plans are Hatched
Down That simple Road
and, ,
Another Journey Begins.
Fashion is fine
But cut of my threads
Not all that Fashionable
But, their all mine
Cause to celebrate
well
no,
not if your strutin' a Cat Walk
and some people
may begin to Talk
Out of Time and a bit late
But that's just the way I am
If a Soul must have a Stain
Let it be one made on the Run
and if I had a Brain
I'd just use it up for fun
and if I ever got Rich
I'd only become the Biggest
son-of-a-bitch
so poor I stroll
keeps me grounded
and loose like a child
and I'll have you know
I'd rather not be so Rich
But better to live a little Wild
Rain fall
gets through a Hole
in my Thrift Store Coat
and Feet Soaked
as I stroll Through
floods deep as any Moat
Patch on my Jeans
like an Orphans
soiled deep and hard
Never are they clean
like coming in with mud
from a Neighbors back yard
Yes it's the Road I run
life a little free
and always FUN
(Change Key here)
Bluesier Rift
Stop, When the Sky's speaking out your name
child, ,
\Keep near, your heart
and let your faith Take the Helm
steer that ship of yours
right into a Horizon meant
for sighs
oh it's then, that you're finally coming Home
Sky Writer Sings this Tune
In every note, , ,
we can feel another full blown Moon
Bottle of Rain,
It's just another way
to give you purest love
I can
Like dew drops
sliding off a Leaf
The Music sways the soul
Bringing our Hearts
a Loving feeling of relief
Oh Moon Shines
Shadows walking cross
a Meadow, long Tall Trees
In these Pines
Oh Babe, ,
come, Walk along, ,
Just walk away with me
As a Child
Your eyes begged
for Love to come
your way
and as I gave,
you absorbed more, , ,
More than you could hold, , , ,
More than you could hold, , ,
as you looked for more
more even stilllllll
Like a Vassal
that no amount of Love
could ever filllllllll, , , , , , , , , , , ,
Let your Soul Shine
Child let out your Love unto me
Let my Arms,
love and carry you through
let your love come into me
Ah Child, , ,
Just know my heart belongs
right there inside of you, , , , ,
