The Ghost Poem by Samuel Hayward

The Ghost

I see him,
He see's me
We just see each other, Plain as can be,
I know he's a ghost
He knows it too, He looks at me puzzled
As if to say 'who are you',
Funny thing is I look the same way too,
He starts to speak No more than a whisper,
His voice was cold It could not be crisper,
His mouth was moving No words came out,
that's when i heard him, when he started to shout,
Clear as can be, this is what he said to me,
I am the ghost, of you and me,
What has gone, and what is to be
So teach this world a lesson, say its from me
Pull your socks up people, or be like me.
