The Ghost Poem by Fritzie Abella

The Ghost

You're the ghost who consumes me
Robbing my sanity day by day
Feeding me with hallow ecstasy
While spewing a litany of sympathy.

The ghost I buried in dusty grave
Came crawling beneath my feet
Still, I'm chained with broken limbs
Still, I crave to relish your scent.

I flee without refuge
Still, you haunt my heart, my soul
You're the faceless breezy chill
The ghost I'm cursed to love in vain.
