The Ghost - Poem by Fritzie Abella

You're the ghost who consumes me
Robbing my sanity day by day
Feeding me with hallow ecstasy
While spewing a litany of sympathy.

The ghost I buried in dusty grave
Came crawling beneath my feet
Still, I'm chained with broken limbs
Still, I crave to relish your scent.

I flee without refuge
Still, you haunt my heart, my soul
You're the faceless breezy chill
The ghost I'm cursed to love in vain.

Poet's Notes about The Poem

'I was in love with you...
Still am in love with you...
When will i have you back? '
