The Ghost Of Love Poem by Lilith Van'Nightinveil

The Ghost Of Love

In haunted halls, I drift alone and roam,
A ghost of love, unseen, forever lost,
A shadowed heart that never finds a home.

Through whispered winds, I hear a distant moan,
Echoes of a past that comes at great cost.
In haunted halls, I drift alone and roam.

I linger near where love once brightly shone,
Now faded dreams, by time and sorrow tossed,
A shadowed heart that never finds a home.

In silent nights, I feel the chill of stone,
A love that lingers, yet the warmth is crossed.
In haunted halls, I drift alone and roam.

Memories of joy, now flesh and bone,
A specter bound by what was dear and lost,
A shadowed heart that never finds a home.

Forevermore, through endless nights I'm thrown,
A ghost of love, amid the cold and frost.
In haunted halls, I drift alone and roam,
A shadowed heart that never finds a home
