The Girl In The Red Shoes Poem by McKenzie Spaulding

The Girl In The Red Shoes

Enhance you elevation,
Make your eyes come alive.
Think about nothing,
Yet, think about everything.
She’s commanded
Demanding perfection

To the eye of the beholder,
Each captured action is important.

Broaden your smile,
Unwrinkle your forehead.
Become somber.
Her face is exhausted.

The camera scrutinizes her movements,
Looking for a new focal point.

Her red shoes intrigue curiosity.
The eye of the camera captures the shot
Freezing forever, in flawless beauty,
The girl in the red shoes.
