The Gloom Overhead Poem by Mack 0561

The Gloom Overhead

Dropped as an infant,
Over the flourishing orb.
Unknowing of the Gloom ahead
Mere determined to walk.
Howling with expectations,
Afore capable to talk.

Living as a youth,
Life seems amusing.
Learning the morals,
Through the necessary caning.
Even after such a predicament,
Gloom's just introducing.

Then little child turns teen,
Starts seeing The Gloom Overhead.
Hiding sadness behind that,
Smiling teeth with mind-inside dead.
Leading towards a solitary life,
Livin' tormented and dread.

Teen's now adult,
And Problem's at the peak.
After a job and a family,
Is this careless freak.
Certainly without any greed,
The gloom's likely he may seek.

Over many monsoons,
Arrives the old age.
The bones rather weak,
Crackling of frail Cartilage.
Proving burden for descendents,
With this ends the life's last page.
