The Glow Of God Within Poem by Freni Karaluthara

The Glow Of God Within

Some mornings, my heart beats wild and loud,
fear wraps around me like morning mist.
I breathe slowly, feeling a small spark,
and step through the day with quiet courage.

I long for warmth, gentle messages from friends,
but emptiness greets me at the break of day.
I see now how my heart has missed others' hearts,
and friendships crumble like dry autumn leaves.

Now I look into my soul and its empty chamber,
yet God has placed a soft path inside me,
a quiet glow guiding every step I take.

In stillness and prayer, I find gentle peace,
and love begins quietly, then spreads around.
Even when shadows linger, life can bloom,
for my heart carries God's mark, and I am never alone.

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
" The Glow of God Within" is a poem born from the quiet corners of my heart—where fears whisper, loneliness lingers, and love is longed for. It carries the weight of emptiness I sometimes feel, yet it also reveals the tender light of God's presence guiding me gently forward. In the stillness of prayer, I discover again that even in the shadows, hope can take root, life can bloom, and love never leaves me. I am reminded that I am deeply held, deeply marked, by God's care. Perhaps you, too, know this same stirring within your own heart.
