The God Poems - Ungrateful Poem by Russel Choudhury

The God Poems - Ungrateful

In the Name of He, who is the First.
In the Name of He, who is the Last,
He who has No beginning nor End.

It is He who was there from the Beginning. Who else knows about how the Beginning was, but He, the Lord God.
Everything was of one matter, and it was He who cleft it asunder.
And From it all was created. And now man argues and frets over how and over what period the Lord did these things.
Do they not know, that with the Lord, all is possible? Do they not know, their Lord is the doer of what He intends.
And He intended to create.
By His Nature, He is the creator, so He did what came naturally to Him, He created!
Assuredly it was their Lord who created man and from him woman,
Two creatures from the same soul.
Is it not a wonder to them, why they feel for each other?
For assuredly man did not create himself,
Nor did he create the heavens, the stars or the earth,
Who but the Lord God did these things, yet they turn back and deny Him.
How can man be so ungrateful?
It was He who gave man life when he did not exist,
It was He who gave man eyes to see the world by, the tongue to speak with, the hand to labour with, feet to walk with, the mind to think with, the heart to love with, and the soul to be saved by! Oh how ungrateful is man!
But all will return onto their Lord, on that Day, then we shall see whom man denies.

Theme is very good. Narration is also good. But poetry is never a statement of facts. It is multi dimensional. It is symbolic. Thanks dear dera Chowdhury.
