The Good Addiction Poem by Krysostom Antonio

I always get bored all the times.
I sit in the couch saying to myself,
'What should I do for today? ,
I know. I'll check the shelf! '

I saw a book with a lot of pages,
I saw some with quite few.
I saw pocket books,
And I saw hardbound books.

Finally I chose an interesting book,
I read it while sitting on the couch.
But then my small puppy scratched me,
And then I said 'Ouch! '

I didn't mind the scratch,
I kept on reading the book.
Until I read the whole book.
Then I glanced at my watch.

It took 14 hours to read it.
You see what I mean?
If we read, read, read,
We get addicted to it.

This is a good addiction.
Not a bad one.
Always get addicted in reading,
because it'll be fun!
