The Goodbye Poem by Krutika Talokar

The Goodbye

Rating: 5.0

I came with a racing heart towards the tree that stood tall.
There she was with her messy hairs falling off her shoulders covering her Mole near
the neck.
The dew drop kissed her lips and there was glitter over her cheeks.
I felt the warmth in her smile and comfort in her eyes.
In the silence my heart made it's own noise.'Calm down'I muttered but I was not in my will.
She turned away with a blaze in her eyes and I lost grip over my knees.
My legs shaked and the ground hugged me.
I was in the grave and she stood still.
'Stay a little longer'was her cry and with dimples I said goodbye.
