The Grand Entrance Poem by Joi Heart

The Grand Entrance

All eyes averted to her
The spotlight of the dark
No moon could compare to the silence of her knock.
She stood at a pause
Not knowing who would come at all
Just a bella at her night
Tip-toeing across the stars.
When she smile the moon would cower
Cause She shun the path threw darkness
Yet her eyes were fill with doubt
as the old oil start to coil.

Music flowed within the wind
Beautiful yet cruel
Mocking her very first step
The critics made a fool.
Whispers connected to their lips
Unpure and very dull
But her smile, still made the moon just wonder
“I wonder if she could..”

I grateful hand extended
And her feet swept threw the floor.
The eye’s that were fill with doubt
Were now filled with Blissful joy.
She never knew the feeling and her smile on rose with Glee.
But sodaly th enight came to an end
The music faded quicker then sighs
The spotlight was over
And the moon came back
The stars said their silent good-byes.
