The Grasses At The Beach Poem by RIC BASTASA

The Grasses At The Beach

the grasses in the beach
are thick and tall
spreading upon the edges
of the concrete fences
perhaps wanting to go out
of its rectangular cage

it is unattended
no one visits them
the time is only at least
once a week

the grasses are tall and thick
perhaps because
they are all free
