The Great Rebellion Poem by Mike Christie

The Great Rebellion

Rating: 4.5

Unrelentless calling, from all those who are falling
Trapped inside of an hour glass
Time is of the essence, mortal man's dependent
Trying to rise up this falling class
Crystallized in time, is the man without a dime
Waiting for his petty life to end
What matters not inside, is the one who runs and hides
But rather he who tries to run again
Fate's not in denial, yet its us who are on trial
Vanquished dreams and broken hopes are near
If you want to stop it, unless you want to dropp it
For if you dropp it your living in fear
To capture our existance, we must travel quite the distance
For what it is we're trying to ignite
To stagger around friendless, it might seem kind of endless
So grab your f*cking guns and lets go fight!
