I write this for a girl
For I hold her so dear
I wish that she would love me
But it is love she fears

She knows how i feel
And thinks it's all a mistake
She thinks that i do not know
The pain that comes from heart break

She tells me that I'm perfect
Underneath her breath
But when she denies my love
I can't help but think of death

I am filled with delight
When it's her voice I hear
And although it will never be
It sounded so sincere

I will always love her
Until my life comes to an end
I'm just so glad
That she will still be my friend
